General guidelines on how to trend a topic

1. DO NOT SPAM! Your tweet should NOT look like this:
#kpop #kpop #kpop #kpop #kpop #kpop #kpop #kpop
OR
#music #music #music #music #music #music #music #music
OR
#kpop #music #kpop #music#kpop #music#kpop #music

THAT IS SPAM AND IT DOES NOT COUNT (plus it's annoying)


2. DO NOT DO IT BEFORE THE DESIGNATED TIME
The way trending topics work is for a mass amount of people to tweet the same hash-tag at the same time. If you start doing it earlier than the designated time … it'll be pointless and it will not make trending topics, which is what we want!


3. IT ISN'T THE NUMBER OF TWEETS, BUT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE TWEETING.
The more people we have doing this, the more successful it will be!
You might want to force/ask/ even begging your friend, followers, etc to type #kpop ONCE per tweet! (Don't forget to say Thanks when they did  )


4. UNLOCK YOUR ACCOUNT DURING TRENDING!
It will not show up in trending topics if your account is set to private! Just unlock it for the time being and as soon as you are done tweeting for the day/night, you can reset it to private.


5. ONE HASH-TAG PER TWEET.
If we got 2 Topics to trend, PLEASE REMEMBER THIS.
Because that is also spam, and spam is unwanted.
Sadly, you can't put both #kpop and #music in one tweet because it will NOT BE COUNTED.

Good tweet:
I love #kpop so much!
OR
I love #music so much!

Bad tweet:
I love #music so much, mainly #kpop! –> Will not be considered by Twitter ):

6. DO NOT PLACE LONE HASHTAGS or word that you're trying to trend
It won't be counted either! Add some sentences inside your tweet 

Good tweet:
I love #kpop more than anything! OR do you know how much iLOVEkpop

Bad tweet:
#kpop <— Typing only this OR typing only this —> iLOVEkpop

1. Dilarang menuliskan hashtag '#' yang mau di jadikan trending dalam jumlah banyak dalam SATU tweet!

2. Tweet topic yang akan dijadikan trending (mis. #ilovekpop) tepat pada waktu yang telah ditentukan, jangan tweet sebelum waktu yang ditentukan karena tidak akan terhitung.

3. Perhitungan topic yang akan menjadi TT BUKAN berdasarkan seberapa banyak / seberapa sering kita men-tweet topic tersebut, tetapi tergantung pada seberapa BANYAK orang yang men-tweet topic tersebut pada waktu yang sama.

jadi sebenernya, seberapa banyakpun hashtag/topic yang kita tweet, pihak twitter hanya akan menghitung 1. Biar project TTnya sukses, carilah masa sebanyak-banyaknya!

4. Unlock twitter kamu biar tweet kamu yg mengandung hashtag/topic akan terhitung dan ga jadi useless

5. Jangan hanya menuliskan hashtag / topic yg ingin dijadikan trend dalam tweet tapi gabungkan dalam sebuah kalimat.

contohnya >>> V: #ilovekpop cause kpop is cool! | X: #ilovekpop
